Paper Source stock one of the largest ranges of premium coloured envelopes in New Zealand created from the beautiful colour ranges in the Colorplan, Extract, Curious Metals and Stardream collections.

Special makings are available on request, from our extensive range of envelope types and sizes or we can create a bespoke envelopes for your specific needs. We can also arrange to have envelopes foiled, printed or embossed with your logo if required. Additional setup fees may apply.

Our envelopes have a plain flap (no sealing adhesive) as standard. This allows you to choose a sticker or wax seal to secure your envelope. Peel and Seal adhesive is available on special makings or post manufacture on request on some styles.

What size do I want?

When choosing an envelope, you must always allow space for your insert. Consider how thick your insert is going to be. If you design an invite exactly 160mm square, it will not fit in a 160 square envelope. We would recommend allowing 5-10mm wiggle room. Your standard A4 piece of paper would fit a C4 envelope. Fold it in half, and you have A5. This would go in a C5 envelope. Fold it in quarters, and you have A6 which would go in a C6 envelope. Fold your A4 sheet in thirds, and you would choose a DLE envelope.



The shape and style come next. Square or rectangle? Do you want it to open on the short or the long edge? How are you going to seal your envelope? Do you want peel n seal, or maybe use a sticker or wax seal? Are you after an unusual size, with string and washer closure made from a specific colour?
